How to use briquettes!
1. Charcoal briquettes can be lit in the same way charcoal is lit. Just that it would be quicker to use paraffin laminated softwood sticks.

*NB: Charcoal briquettes have begun to light when the black part near the fire begins to turn white. This takes about 10-15 minutes. They are also easier to light if arranged like vertical cylinders.*
2. Charcoal briquettes burn for long. If you want to put them out, carefully hold the part that is still unburnt/black then remove the burnt or burning part (the one that looks like ash)
3. It is absolutely normal for the briquette ash to be brown.
