Our partnership with local stove makers is bringing them on board as well as enhancing the efficiency of our briquettes.
Through this initiative we are reaching out to grass root communities to support households which depend on recycling because we share a common commitment to a greener environment. Therefore we have worked together to recycle this non-biodegradable waste that is threatening our environment. Our effort however minimal they may seem are propelling society forward.
On the outskirts of Kireka near the national Stadium the low income households depend on informal economic activities such as stove making while recycling the steel from scrap and we are supporting these families through giving hen access to a solid market.
This same module can be replicated around more than 100 suburbs across the capital and it's neighborhood to recycle and reuse waste. We believe our efforts are part of a great move to protect our environment. With our assiduous steps we are not about to give up on this forefront.
